Rheinhessen, the land of the thousand hills

Rheinhessen is not located in the region of Hessen but gets its name from its pertenence to the grand duchy Hessen. Nowadays, Rheinhessen belongs to the community Rheinland-Pfalz. It is the bigger and tradition-richest vine area in Germany and it is framed by the course of the river Rhine, Mainz, Worms, Alzey and Bingen.

Ca. 26,000 hectares of vines grow up on uncountable hills.

Rheinhessen offers wine the perfect conditions to maturate, such as adequate sole and a sunny weather.
